Quotas continues to perform independent monitoring of German priority mail transit times
The Deutsche Post AG awarded Quotas with a renewed contract for a continuous transit time measurement from 2010 to 2012.
In the coming years, Quotas will continue to monitor in an objective and independent manner the domestic transit time of single piece priority mail within Germany.
The nation-wide minimum sample of 635,000 annual test letters continues to be on a high level. Every test letter is equipped with an RFID transponder. This technology allows the detailed monitoring of the path of test letters through the postal logistic system (including first and last mile registrations).
The transit time study is annually certified to the European standard EN 13850 of the Comité Européen de Normalisation for the measurement of mail transit times
